Plant biologists report {that a} species of tree fern discovered solely in Panama reanimates its personal lifeless leaf fronds, changing them into root constructions that feed the mom plant. The fern, Cyathea rojasiana, reconfigures these ‘zombie leaves,’ reversing the move of water to attract vitamins again into the plant.
