EPA awards $94 million to Arkansas photo voltaic tasks in deprived communities

The federal Environmental Safety Company is sending greater than $93 million to put in photo voltaic expertise in low-income and deprived Arkansas communities, the company introduced right this moment. 

Hope Enterprise Company was awarded $93,670,000 to improve access to solar energy across Arkansas. Their plans embrace constructing rooftop photo voltaic installations in low-income communities and reducing electrical payments for individuals in multifamily buildings. 

The agency announced $7 billion in funding as a part of the Greenhouse Gasoline Discount Fund’s Photo voltaic for All program for low-income and deprived communities. The Greenhouse Gasoline Discount Fund is a part of the Inflation Discount Act, which was signed into legislation by President Joe Biden in 2022.
