Experiment opens door for thousands and thousands of qubits on one chip

Researchers have achieved the primary controllable interplay between two gap spin qubits in a standard silicon transistor. The breakthrough opens up the potential for integrating thousands and thousands of those qubits on a single chip utilizing mature manufacturing processes.
