First dive survey of Lake Tahoe’s lakebed finds excessive quantities of plastic and different litter

Plastic litter is a rising drawback around the globe, and new analysis reveals that the underside of Lake Tahoe is not any exception. In one of many first research to make the most of scuba divers to gather litter from a lakebed, 673 plastic objects have been counted from only a small fraction of the lake.
