5 individuals have been martyred and 22 others have been injured on Monday in an explosion close to a police van in Mamund tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district, rescue and hospital officers mentioned.
As per preliminary experiences, the explosion occurred close to a police van that was en route to offer safety to a polio vaccination group in Mamun tehsil of Bajaur district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
At the least 22 individuals have been injured within the blast and have been shifted to hospital, as per rescue officers.
