‘Big’ predator worms greater than half a billion years outdated found in North Greenland

Fossils of a brand new group of animal predators have been situated within the Early Cambrian Sirius Passet fossil locality in North Greenland. These massive worms could also be a number of the earliest carnivorous animals to have colonized the water column greater than 518 million years in the past, revealing a previous dynasty of predators that scientists did not know existed.
