LHC orders launch of PTI president Parvez Elahi

The Lahore Excessive Courtroom (LHC) ordered on Friday the Nationwide Accountability Bureau (NAB) to launch former chief minister of Punjab Parvez Elahi.

The LHC has barred authorities from arresting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president in every other case.

Justice Amjad Rafiq presided over the listening to of a corruption case moved towards Elahi by NAB.

The previous Punjab chief minister was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Institution (ACE) in Gujranwala on allegations of taking Rs 15 million as bribes because the speaker of provincial meeting for making out-of-merit appointments on grade-17 posts within the provincial meeting.
