Mountain View’s Kin People Bar-B-Q destroyed by pit fireplace

Kin People Bar-B-Q, the venerable barbecue establishment situated on the sq. in downtown Mountain View, suffered a significant fireplace Wednesday night.

The blaze seems to have began on account of a pit fireplace. The Stone County Leader reports that diners have been contained in the restaurant when musicians at Mountain View Music throughout the road seen that smoke rising from the restaurant’s barbecue smoker “didn’t have its regular look or aroma.”

After flames have been noticed, onlookers warned diners and shortly known as 911. Shortly after, three pumper vans from the Mountain View Volunteer Hearth Division arrived on the scene and shortly extinguished the blaze, stopping it from spreading to neighboring buildings, in keeping with The Chief.
