President Dr Arif Alvi has accepted the reconstitution of the Council of Widespread Pursuits (CCI) on the recommendation of the Prime M inister Shehbaz Sharif.
Authorized by the president underneath Article 153 of the structure, the CCI could be headed by the Prime Minister and would comprise the chief ministers of 4 provinces apart from three federal ministers.

Three federal ministers would even be a part of the Council of Widespread Pursuits as they have been nominated by the Prime Minister.
The federal ministers embody Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, and Railways and Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq.
