Seeing clearly into a brand new realm — researchers prototype a brand new technology of quantum microscopy

With the advance of quantum applied sciences, new microscopy modalities have gotten attainable — ones that may see electrical currents, detect fluctuating magnetic fields, and even see single molecules on a floor. A prototype of such a microscope, demonstrating excessive decision sensitivity, has been developed by an Australian analysis group.
