Addressing a press convention, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated a “partial lockdown” was being imposed for per week from July 31, Sunday, until August 8 because of rising instances of Delta variant that first emerged in India.
Following are the restrictions that will probably be imposed within the province
Grocery shops, meat retailers, and milk retailers will keep open until 6pm.
Eating places will stay open just for deliveries and takeaways will probably be banned
Markets will stay closed
Pharmacies and medical services will stay open around the clock
Public transport will function partially with some Covid-19 restrictions
Motion of media individuals carrying masks will probably be allowed
Earlier as we speak, the Sindh authorities introduced to impose a lockdown within the province from July 31 (tomorrow) till August 08 after an irregular surge in COVID-19 instances particularly in Karachi.
The choice was taken by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah throughout a gathering of the COVID process power that was specifically attended by opposition leaders and merchants. “Lockdown would stay in place within the province from July 31 to August 08,” Murad Ali Shah stated.
