College of Arkansas System President Donald Bobbitt has his new contract, signed and able to take impact Jan. 1.
One main change from Bobbitt’s present settlement is that the UA System’s board of trustees can sever ties and not using a massive price ticket.
At a current board of trustees retreat, chairman Morril Harriman requested board members if they’d any considerations with the ultimate draft. None did, system spokesman Nate Hinkel mentioned in the present day. So, Harriman went forward and signed the final contract, dated Aug. 9.
You can read more here about the contract, which we wrote about earlier this month earlier than its closing approval.
