The apex courtroom had on Monday granted Asmat bail after she challenged the rejection of her bail pleas by the Islamabad Excessive Courtroom (IHC).
An identical plea filed by Zahir’s father, Zakir Jaffer, was rejected.

“Asmat’s bail plea is accepted beneath a sub-section of Part 497 [pertaining to release on bail for individuals under the age of 16, women or sick] of the Legal Process Code 1898,” learn the decision.
The regulation permits ladies to hunt bail even when they’re suspected to have dedicated a nonbailable offence.
In response to the decision, the Asmat has been directed to submit bonds price Rs1 million as surety in opposition to her bail.
“The bail shall be cancelled in case of misuse of launch, ways to delay the trial or influencing the witnesses of the case,” reads the decision.
The decision, comprising three pages, was written by Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
Individually, the Supreme Courtroom dismissed a plea searching for bail for Asmat’s husband, Zakir.
Furthermore, the SC verdict added that the IHC’s orders to finish the trial inside two months must be upheld.
Earlier, the IHC had rejected the bail pleas filed by Zahir’s dad and mom within the case.
Zakir and Ismat had filed bail petitions within the case stating that that they had nothing to do with Noor’s homicide, whereas the police challan introduced in courtroom stated that if Zahir’s dad and mom had knowledgeable the police in time, Noor might have been saved.
