Engineers designed an ‘architected’ reef that may mimic the wave-buffering results of pure reefs whereas offering pockets for marine life. The sustainable and cost-saving construction may dissipate greater than 95 % of incoming wave vitality utilizing a small fraction of the fabric usually wanted.
