Election Commision notifies delimitation of constituencies for native govt polls in Islamabad

In line with the notification issued by the ECP, the preliminary listing of union councils/wards can be ready in 30 days from Nov 25 to Dec 24 and can be displayed on Dec 27.

The notification said that from Dec 28 to Jan 11, voters may file objections earlier than the delimitation authority, including after completion of varied levels, a last listing of the constituencies can be printed on Feb 3, 2022.

It’s related to notice that after stating the non-serious strategy of the federal authorities in holding the native authorities elections in Islamabad, the ECP on Monday had said that if the required information and notifications weren’t offered to the fee inside 10 days for delimitation of recent UCs, the fee shall provoke the delimitation course of on the already notified UCs.
